About the Role:
Oldham Dock and Doors LLC is looking for a skilled Commercial Overhead Door Installer to join our team as a 1099 contractor in Lebanon, TN. This is a great opportunity for an experienced installer to take on exciting commercial projects with flexibility and independence. Responsibilities:
- Install commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, and related hardware at commercial job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation specifications
- Perform adjustments, alignments, and quality checks to ensure proper door operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in a timely and professional manner
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and lift equipment on job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards
- Communicate professionally with site supervisors, contractors, and customers
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial overhead door installation or a closely related trade
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 independent contractor
- Strong knowledge of door hardware, tracks, springs, and operators
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical installation instructions
- Must have reliable transportation and basic hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-friendly demeanor
