Clinical Dietitian (1st Shift) - Selinsgrove Center

About the Position As a Clinical Dietitian with the Department of Human Services, you will help shape the nutritional care of individuals who rely on dedicated support. Responsibilities Nutritional Assessments: Complete admission and annual assessments and respond to physician consults Care Recommendations: Provide guidance to physicians and teams regarding nutritional interventions and plans Record Management: Maintain accurate diet records, chart notes, and data in the nutritional management system Menu Oversight: Implement therapeutic menu changes, substitutions, and modifications to support dietary needs Staff Training: Deliver training and instructions to direct care and food service staff on diet requirements and updates Committee Participation: Take part in individual support plan meetings, team meetings, and committees such as the Dysphagia Committee Work Schedule and Additional Information Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 1st shift (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch Overtime and travel as operationally necessary Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable Free parking Qualifications Special Requirement: This position requires active certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, or proof of eligibility for such certification.
