Job Description Job Title: MRI Technologist Location: 3333 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston Salem, NC 27103 Company: ESO Consultants Position Type Full-Time Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) 36 hours per week Job Description: ESO Consultants is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with experience in radiology and cardiology to join the team at a leading healthcare facility in Winston Salem, NC. This position is for a night shift role, providing essential imaging services to a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures on various body parts, including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal areas, and more. Utilize advanced MRI techniques such as Diffusion Imaging (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion Imaging, and Peripheral Magnetic Resonance. Ensure high-quality imaging results using Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier equipment, maintaining competence in both systems. Independently manage the MRI department during the 3rd shift, occasionally working with an Operations Assistant if available. Work across various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, community hospital, and adult ICU environments. Utilize the EPIC and Visage (PACS) systems for patient records and image storage. Adhere to safety protocols and patient care standards, particularly when working with contrast agents. Conduct imaging for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and hospital requirements. Required Skills / Certifications / Experience Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience. Certification: BLS, ARRT(R) or ARRT (MR). Experience with the following MRI procedures is essential: Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 & T-2 Weighted Images, and more. Proficiency in working in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and ICU settings. Experience with PACS systems and contrast media. Job Details Daily Caseload: 40 cases across 3 rooms. Contract Duration: Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to cover the holiday period. Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, Friday (18:00 - 06:30), Saturday (18:00 - 06:30), and Sunday (17:00 - 05:30). Call Requirement: None. Float Requirement: None. Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults & Geriatrics. Special Procedures: MRI technologist will work independently on the 3rd shift. Additional Information Scrubs: Royal Blue Tops and Bottoms. Unit Orientation: 1 week on the first shift, followed by an assessment for independent work.
