Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Oregon License not required at the time of submission; 90-Day Emergency License can be requested upon offer Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong skills with gynecological cases, including TLH Description: The operating room consists of 4 main suites and additional specialized areas. The number of cases performed per day varies. Common cases include gynecological, general, orthopedic joint replacements, fracture and soft tissue repairs, urological, ENT, and podiatry. Scrubbing is required for registered nurses. The shift schedule is from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Weeknight and weekend call requirements are in place, requiring response within 20 minutes. There is a holiday call requirement as well. Flexibility to float to other departments may be necessary as needed. Scrub color is blue and will be provided. Unit/department-specific orientation will be conducted. Cancellation policy allows for shifts to be canceled under certain conditions. The charting system used is MEDITECH.
