Job duties: Work hybrid remote. Work in our motions / writing department. Draft substantive motions for summary judgment and appeals. Craft and execute high-impact motions from dispositive motions for summary judgment to pretrial motions and appeals in New York State and Federal Courts Analyze complex legal issues and persuasive argumentation Focus exclusively on the craft of legal writing without the demands of courtroom appearances and client reporting (won’t handle a caseload, won’t conduct depositions, won’t attend routine court appearances (like status conferences or discovery conferences).
