About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for medical experts on assigned cases
- Coordinate scheduling for calls, evaluations, depositions, and testimony
- Track case deadlines and ensure timely completion of all deliverables
- Distribute and manage incoming medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Perform quality checks on records (e.g., file integrity, accessibility, and completeness)
- Maintain and update case information within the TxMLC tracking system
- Manage expert time tracking and assist with billing submissions
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and healthcare professionals via phone and email
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Word
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
