We are looking for an Attorney/Lawyer to support insurance defense matters in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is suited for a licensed attorney who can manage litigation activities from early case assessment through motion practice and trial preparation. The position offers the opportunity to build courtroom experience while contributing strong legal analysis, persuasive writing, and strategic case development within a services environment.

Responsibilities:
• Handle insurance defense cases through all stages of litigation, maintaining case strategy and meeting court deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with accuracy and sound legal reasoning.
• Conduct legal research to evaluate claims, develop arguments, and support written and oral advocacy.
• Manage discovery activities, including drafting responses, preparing requests, and analyzing produced materials.
• Represent clients in hearings, conferences, depositions, and trial-related proceedings as needed.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to assess exposure, recommend next steps, and support resolution strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and evaluate case value while balancing litigation risk and client objectives.• Active attorney license required and in good standing.
• At least 1 year of experience handling civil litigation matters.
• Demonstrated experience with insurance defense litigation is strongly preferred.
• Ability to draft motions, pleadings, and briefs independently and effectively.
• Working knowledge of discovery practice, including written discovery and document review.
• Strong legal research, analytical thinking, and detail-focused writing skills.
• Confidence managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
