AMN Healthcare is excited to partner with a well-respected school district in DeKalb, Illinois, to offer a full-time Occupational Therapist position for the remainder of the school year. This school-based role, facilitated through AMN Healthcare consists of 37.5 hours per week and provides a rewarding opportunity to support students across various grade levels. As an OT in this setting, you will conduct evaluations to assess students motor, sensory, and functional abilities, develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs, and provide direct services to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-help skills. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to adapt classroom environments and activities, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Occupational Therapist, School

Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in IL

Preferred Qualifications
Initial certification through NBCOT
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
