Petroleum Tank Wagon DriverAn exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Petroleum Tank Wagon Driver to join our team. This role requires a professional driver to operate a motor vehicle with a gross weight of 54,000lbs, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of petroleum products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Safely and efficiently drives commercial vehicles Monday through Friday and occasional weekends and holidays in all types of weather conditionsLoads, unloads and moves fuels safely from fuel terminal to customer or company locations in a timely mannerFollows company policies and federal and state regulationsKeeps a safe record regarding accidents, driving record, injuries and other actions/events, following all company safety guidelinesMaintains clean equipment, uniforms and cab space, ensuring any repairs are communicated promptlyCompletes accurate and timely documentation for delivery of product, volume of delivery, and inventory control managementAppropriately uses internal systems, hand held devices, and other electronic equipment for work purposesTakes direction from dispatchers and/or managers, following delivery instructions and maintaining good working relationshipCommunicates with team members, management and customers in a professional and courteous mannerStays calm and level headed in stressful situations and refrains from emotional outburstsAdopts new methods, procedures and changes in a positive mannerOffers suggestions to improve efficiencies and solutions to solve problemsRequirements:Must be at least 21 years of age or olderCommercial Driver's License, Class A or BHazmat and Tanker (X) endorsement or willing to obtain upon hireExcellent driving record6-12 months commercial driving experienceGood customer service, computer, and communication skillsAble to work rotational on-call nights and weekendsMust be able to read and write English
