We're hiring dependable Warehouse Workers for a highvolume tire distribution center in Edenton, North Carolina . This is a physically active, earlymorning role that's ideal for people who like to stay moving, work with a strong team, and finish their day by midmorning.
You'll play a key role in keeping freight moving by loading, unloading, and staging tires accurately and safely in a fastpaced warehouse environment.
What You'll Be Doing

• Manually load and unload tires from inbound containers and outbound trucks
• Help the team move 3,200+ tires per shift and complete 4-5 trucks per day
• Pick, stage, and verify tires for accuracy and condition before shipping
• Check incoming and outgoing products for correct size, type, and quantity
• Perform visual inspections for damage, defects, dry rot, or sidewall issues
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHAcompliant work area
• Support inventory tasks such as order picking, packing, and basic counts
• Follow all safety procedures during heavy lifting and production work

What We're Looking For

• Ability to perform heavy physical labor throughout the shift
  • Lifting, pushing, and throwing 50-100 lb tires repeatedly
• Stamina for constant bending, twisting, reaching, and movement
• Experience loading/unloading trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail when checking product and paperwork
• Commitment to safety and OSHA regulations
• Comfort working in a nonclimatecontrolled warehouse
• Reliability and teamwork in a productiondriven environment
• Willingness to work a consistent 1:00 AM - 9:00 AM schedule

Work Schedule & Environment

• Schedule: 1:00 AM - 9:00 AM, Monday-Friday
• Location: Large (500,000 sq. ft.) distribution facility in Edenton, NC
• Fastpaced, highvolume operation
• Nonclimatecontrolled warehouse (seasonal temperature changes)
• Continuous physical activity for most of the shift
• Work around forklifts and material handling equipment
• Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and organization

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabeth City, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
