Health Information Management Specialist

To support efficient healthcare operations, the full-time HIM Operations Specialist I will manage the accurate uploading and indexing of medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely from Sunday to Thursday, 11 am to 7:30 pm. Key responsibilities: Accurately upload and index outside records into the EHR, ensuring proper documentation routing to clinicians Analyze medical records for missing documentation and manage deficiencies according to regulations and organizational policies Serve as a point of contact for clinicians regarding record completion support and collaborate with data integrity teams to address documentation errors Required qualifications: High School Graduate or Equivalent 0-1 year of experience in healthcare Proficient in using computer software systems, including EHR applications Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
