About the Role:

As a Registered Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation team, assisting residents in achieving their highest level of independence and functional ability. You will develop and implement personalized treatment plans, conduct thorough assessments, and provide guidance and support to our therapy assistants. Your expertise will help residents regain strength, mobility, and confidence, empowering them to return to their daily lives with dignity and pride.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of residents to identify rehabilitation needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including occupational therapy interventions and strategies
• Provide guidance and support to therapy assistants, ensuring high-quality care and services
• Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team, including physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and nursing staff
• Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident affairs and develop comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
• 2+ years of experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on rehabilitation and long-term care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
