About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years preferred, 1.5 years minimum required License: Valid State License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience required On-call requirement: 2 nights/week and 1 weekend every 2 weeks Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Cath Lab. Candidates will be required to participate in on-call duties. This involves working two nights per week and one weekend every two weeks. Experience of at least 1.5 years is a hard stop requirement. First-time travelers will not be accepted. Prior experience with Epic charting is necessary. Candidates must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications. The role involves monitoring procedural sedation and managing various cardiac procedures. Strong skills in interventions such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology are expected. The position expects adherence to scheduling requests and weekend requirements to meet unit needs. Travelers are expected to float between facilities as needed. Candidates should be prepared to comply with all patient care protocols and safety measures. References from previous employment will be required before the start of the assignment.
