Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) for a travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date 09/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,098 to $2,197. Night shift (3x12-hour shifts). Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the OR, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative monitoring, and documentation
- Prepare and assist with ENT (trach/airways, head/neck flaps, ears, soft tissue cases), Neuro (burr holes, craniotomy), and surgical oncology (robotics) cases; manage instrumentation and equipment
- Maintain sterile technique, assist with positioning, positioning devices, and patient safety throughout procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct counts, handle specimens, and facilitate safe patient transfer to postoperative recovery as needed
- Float to all ORs as required and adapt to a varied case mix while adhering to unit policies

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas or a Compact state
- AHA BLS certification
- Proficiency in ENT, Neuro, or surgical oncology OR cases (robotics knowledge a plus)
- Experience with Level I trauma cases preferred
- Ability to float to all ORs and work nights in a travel assignment
