Inventory Control Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Clerk to oversee daily inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations. In this role, you will execute scheduled cycle counts, handle emergency counts, analyze inventory reports using SAP, and direct team members based on operational data. This position requires hands-on material handling experience, including operating reach trucks and cherry pickers.

salary: $20.99 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities

• Cycle & Emergency Counting: Perform scheduled calendar cycle counts and conduct urgent emergency counts to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.

• SAP Data & Reporting: Utilize SAP to run daily transaction and putaway reports; analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies and direct team members on workflow priorities.

• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, specifically Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers , to access inventory at various heights.

• Team Guidance: Use daily report insights to delegate tasks, guide team members on stock placement, and resolve inventory issues.

• Quality Control: Maintain high attention to detail during stock audits, data entry, and physical inventory reconciliations.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations, warehouse safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 35lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• Inventory (2 years of experience is preferred)
• SAP (2 years of experience is preferred)
• Forklift Reach Truck
• Cherry PIcker (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Cycle Counts (2 years of experience is preferred)
