Support essential healthcare services as a pharmacist in a specialized hospital setting located in Logan, OH. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract with the potential for extension, starting between September 8th and September 14th. The facility is a 25-bed hospital with key specialty areas including Emergency Department, Infusion, and Orthopedics, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize patient medication therapies, particularly within Emergency, Infusion, and Orthopedics specialties.
• Utilize the EPIC order entry system for medication orders and documentation—experience with EPIC is highly preferred.
• Provide on-call support after scheduled shifts and occasionally on Saturdays to maintain seamless pharmaceutical services.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and contribute to quality assurance processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid Ohio Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency or experience with EPIC electronic order entry systems is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively support patient care teams.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Monday through Friday: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
• On-call duties required after some shifts.
• Occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
