Regional Student Accounts Officer (ON - Orlando Campus)

The Regional Student Accounts Officer manages payments, cash flow, and follows up with in-school and out-of-school accounts past due continuously. Provides effective financial counseling and advice to prospective and current students. Prepares collections and financial reports. In addition to student ledger card adjustments and scholarship postings. Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. At least two years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Willingness and ability to travel between campuses. Ability to work extended hours (which will include evenings and weekends), in order to meet business objectives. Responsibilities Track all student payment plans to ensure timely payment. Handles all in and out of school collections, including referrals to the collection agency. Prepares monthly billings and monitors A/R. Process all invoices thru eRequester (as back up). Prepares all cash payer installment notes. Handles all credit card transactions. Provide weekly feedback/reporting of the department’s status to the Executive Director.
