Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Proven experience in a school nursing or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations
• Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide daily health assessments and care for students and staff, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management
• Create and implement care plans for students with specific health needs
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure continuity of student care
• Participate in health and safety education initiatives for the school community
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and health-conscious atmosphere throughout the school

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.70 to $52.70. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
