Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,930 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Type of equipment : i-mobile phones for each care team member, Mobile computer workstation on wheels, mobilab for lab drawers, alaris iv pumps · Documentation system: Meditech Must have : Ability to care for 6 Telemetry patients/ post cardiac procedures to include: PCI, PPM, ICD or Ablations. Proficient in reading telemetry strips. Time management to include plans of care every shift, collaboration with physicians and ancillary departments. Discharge planning and patient education. Advanced skills needed: · Phlebotomy · Nurses administer breathing treatments outside of the ICU (Respiratory treatments: inhalers and nebulizers) · Foley Catheter care and maintenance (with nurse driven protocols for removal) · Telemetry and Post Cath Lab patients · Management of Cardiac Drips (Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Dobutamine) Procedures performed on unit: Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS required, NIH stroke scale certification required Elevated rate About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
