Direct Counsel is seeking a Business Litigation Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join a highly respected Am Law firm.

3–5 years Direct Counsel is partnering with a global law firm to identify a mid-level associate for its Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Pittsburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes litigation while gaining meaningful responsibility in a collaborative and well-resourced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution Conduct factual investigations and legal research Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials Handle all aspects of discovery, including e-discovery Prepare for and take depositions; argue motions Assist with hearings, trials, and overall case strategy Communicate directly with clients and contribute to client development efforts Practice Areas Include: Commercial and business litigation Trade secrets and unfair competition Construction litigation Environmental and land use disputes Trust and estate litigation Shareholder and partnership disputes Qualifications: 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience Strong academic credentials and experience with complex litigation matters Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a team Strong interpersonal and communication skills Licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar What They’re Looking For: A self-starter who can handle a high volume of work with attention to detail Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative A team-oriented attorney with strong professional drive and long-term growth mindset This is a strong opportunity for a litigation associate looking to gain hands-on experience and increased responsibility within a globally recognized platform.
