Saw Operator (1st Shift)

Bar Saw OperatorWieland is hiring a Bar Saw Operator. The Saw Operator will be responsible for focusing on machine operation and product quality while assisting with overall warehouse operations as needed. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.Starting Pay: $19/hrSchedule: 1st Shift (6am-3pm)ResponsibilitiesBar Saw Operator Responsibilities:Duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:Create and maintain a safe organized working environment.Operate machinery in a safe manner to ensure quality product.Inspect material before and after operation for imperfections.Load and unload product from the machinery for processing.Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy.Report product discrepancies to management.Actively communicate with teammates.Operate forklifts to relocate material.Other Operations tasks as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
