Part-Time Material Handler - Weekends PM

divh2Manufacturing Position/h2pDuties Responsibilities:/pulliPerform duties to fill and empty machines, transport finished product, components, or raw material within molding/automation department and throughout plant area./liliOther duties include mixing materials, emptying grinder pans, sweeping and clean-up, operator relief, operate hand and lift truck, and production equipment, assist set-up technician with mold set-ups, automation changeovers, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and all paperwork associated./liliMaintain the responsibility neatly and organized, including returning partial containers of material to their proper storage area./liliMake material / color changes in a timely manner, to include leaving the workstation clean and organized./liliMaintain a proper flow of material to area of responsibility so that operation does not cease for lack of supplies./liliEnsure product is stored and utilized in FIFO mode./liliPerform problem-solving techniques in evaluating material vacuum/drying system problems./liliMove, wrap and label finished product when directed./liliDocument lot control where required./liliRemoves any old labels from gaylords, boxes and totes./liliMaintain proper rotation of raw material/components./liliReport inventory of raw goods to the materials team weekly by doing a physical inventory in the rack area./liliFollow all safety guidelines./liliEnsure accuracy of materials placed inside the room and back into inventory using ERP System./li/ulpEquipment and tools used (but not limited to): Hand and lift trucks, hand tools, grinders, scales, and drying equipment./ppQualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or GED required/lili1 to 3 years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment./liliMust be able to read, write, and communicate verbally with good organizational skills required./liliGood verbal and written communication skills/liliAbility to read and write English/liliAttention to detail, organization, and strong multitasking abilities/liliMust have basic computer skills/liliMotivated to grow and develop skills for advancement/liliBasic knowledge of machine operation and plastic injection molding would be a plus/liliBasic math skills required to accurately count and record part production. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
