Safety Officer

Role Description The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Denver Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring workplace health and safety programs aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections and audits, assessing risks, investigating incidents and near-misses, and maintaining safety documentation and reports. The Safety Officer will deliver safety training and toolbox talks, support emergency preparedness, and collaborate with operations and management to create corrective action plans. This position also works closely with team members to promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with occupational health regulations, and safeguard people, equipment, and facilities. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Health & Safety and Occupational Health to manage workplace hazards and compliance with relevant regulations. Candidates should possess skills in Accident Investigation to analyze incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Candidates should possess skills in Security to support safe access control, site protection, and coordination with security procedures. Candidates should possess skills in Safety Training to develop and deliver effective training programs, briefings, and safety communications for diverse teams. Relevant qualifications such as a degree or certification in occupational health and safety, environmental health, or a related field. Knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety regulations, with experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments preferred. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and support a safety-first culture.
