Sessions are scheduled after school (weekdays, 4-10 PM) and on weekends.While we are hiring for this position in June and July, the bulk of your teaching will begin in September or October and run through the end of the coming school year in May or June of 2027. Our academic tutors tend to work with students for the duration of the school year and provide long-term, intensive weekly tutoring from fall to spring.Key Responsibilities* Deliver 90-minute private, in-home tutoring sessions for high school science through in homes across the DMV.* Create customized lesson plans to address individual student needs and learning goals.* Maintain consistent, positive communication with parents and students to build trust and rapport.* Collaborate with the Top Score team to track student progress and refine tutoring strategies.Ideal Candidate* Proven experience teaching or tutoring high school science.
