Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist supporting an FMLA leave. This is a full-time, 8-week itinerant assignment near Kansas City, KS, where you'll make a significant impact working with a caseload of 39 students across multiple locations.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with active credentials for school-based practice
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to manage an itinerant schedule efficiently and adapt between schools as needed
• Strong communication and documentation skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Passion for fostering student growth and maximizing functional independence

Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to a diverse caseload of 39 students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to support access to the educational environment
• Travel between multiple school locations, maintaining consistent service delivery
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all sessions, progress notes, and required reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams
