Position Details We are seeking a School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in our Ellsworth, PA location. Earn: $30.68 per hour The School Nurse is a licensed practical nurse (LPN) who provides high-quality, compassionate health care to students in a school setting. Working under the direct supervision of the School Program Director, the School Nurse ensures that all health-related policies and procedures are implemented effectively and safely. The School Nurse plays a vital role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment where all children feel safe, supported, and cared for with empathy and professionalism. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols. Ensure proper storage, documentation, and safety of all medications and medical supplies. Adhere to standard precautions and infection control guidelines to promote a safe and healthy environment. Manage incidents and critical events through timely reporting and appropriate follow-up procedures. Respond promptly and sensitively to students’ health needs, offering calm, compassionate care in both routine and urgent situations. Collaborate with school staff, families, and external healthcare providers to support the physical and emotional well‑being of each child.
