JOB DESCRIPTION

Hoboken Grace Community Church is looking for a part-time intern for our Communications Department. The individual will work directly with our Communications Director and staff team to ensure all day-to-day operations of the Communications team are planned and executed. This position is ideal for anyone who is pursuing a career in communications, journalism, or marketing – and is looking to gain valuable hands‑on experience in a non‑profit environment. The candidate must be able to work on‑site in Hoboken, NJ and must be eligible to work in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS

Introductory knowledge of basic communication/journalism principles Familiarity with major social media platforms Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets Detail and task-oriented Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects at once Knowledge of Google Ads/Analytics platforms is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing social and live media schedules Ideating and executing social media and/or blog posts Copywriting for various website, app, social media, and live communication Assisting Communications Director with Press Releases Capturing live footage of events Ensuring all social media, web, and app pages are up to date

SCHEDULE

May 26 - August 13, 2026 15 - 20 hours per week depending on candidate
