This position will serve as a centralized leader across active engagements, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, consistently, and with the highest level of quality.This role combines program-level project management, consultant utilization oversight, and client-facing advisory support, enabling scalable growth of the Global Trade practice while enhancing the client experience and reducing delivery risk.You will enjoy this role if you:Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment requiring coordination across teamsAre highly organized and excel at bringing structure and visibility to complex workstreamsEnjoy being both client-facing and operationally focusedAre proactive in identifying risks and solving problems before they escalateLike working at the intersection of strategy, execution, and client serviceValue building scalable processes that improve efficiency and delivery qualityKey Responsibilities:Project & Portfolio OversightProvide centralized oversight of all active Global Trade & Customs engagements, ensuring projects remain on track with scope, timeline, and budgetEstablish and maintain project management standards, tools, and reporting frameworks across the practiceMonitor project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables; proactively identify and mitigate risksDrive consistency in delivery execution and promote best practices across engagement teamsCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient executionResource & Utilization ManagementManage consultant utilization across a growing and complex portfolio of workPartner with leadership to align staffing with project needs, deadlines, and skillsetsIdentify capacity constraints, resource gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiencyDevelop actionable reporting on utilization, forecasting, and capacity planningClient Engagement & Advisory SupportServe as a key client-facing contact supporting engagement teamsAssist clients in navigating customs portals, processes, and procedural requirementsRespond to client inquiries by coordinating with technical specialists and conducting targeted researchHelp translate complex customs and trade requirements into clear, actionable guidance for clientsSupport strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service deliveryReporting & Practice EnablementDeliver clear, concise reporting to leadership on project status, risks, utilization, and performance metricsProvide insights that enable data-driven decision making and continuous improvementProactively surface risks, bottlenecks, and delivery challenges with recommended solutionsSupport development of scalable processes, tools, and playbooks for the Global Trade practiceTeam Collaboration & LeadershipWork closely with Partners, Directors, and engagement teams to coordinate delivery effortsSupport onboarding, training, and development of team members on project management best practicesFoster collaboration across teams to enhance efficiency and knowledge sharingContribute to the growth and operational maturity of the Global Trade & Customs practiceMinimum Qualifications:4-year degree8 years professional experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred10+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, project management, or global trade-related rolesStrong project management experience overseeing multiple concurrent engagementsExperience managing resources, utilization, and/or capacity planningDemonstrated ability to work directly with clients and manage relationships effectivelyStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear guidanceProficiency with project management tools and reporting frameworksBonus criteria:PMP CertificationLCB CertificationExposure to customs compliance, import/export processes, or trade regulationsExperience working with government agencies such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection or similarBackground in professional services, consulting, or advisory environmentsExperience building or improving operational processes in a growing practiceThe US National pay rate range for this job position is $179,850-$340,970. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
