Hardware Verification Engineer, New College Graduate, (Teradyne, Agoura Hills,CA)

Our product integration and verification group is seeking a motivated Junior Hardware Verification Engineer with foundational knowledge of digital hardware, test methodology, and product verification. In this entry-level role, you will learn and apply professional concepts while helping develop and release product test and verification software that confirms the functionality and performance of new products. You will work with hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams to support product integration, validation, and production transfer. Apply established test methods to verify product functionality, performance, and system-level robustness. Develop, debug, and maintain automated test code in an object-oriented environment, including C# and C++ for Windows and embedded Linux. Use laboratory tools and test results to identify, isolate, and document hardware, firmware, and software issues. Support validation from early development through factory release and manufacturing handoff. Communicate progress, risks, and results; Our commitment to customer success drives us to go the extra mile. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Foundational understanding of electrical and electronic principles, digital circuits, and signal integrity. Coursework, internship, project, or laboratory experience with object-oriented programming. C# is preferred; Java, C++, or Python experience is also relevant. Familiarity with hardware debugging and root-cause analysis using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, or protocol analyzers. Exposure to software that interacts with hardware, including FPGA- or ASIC-based systems, is a plus. The base salary range for this role is $69,700-$111,500. Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
