Certified Surgical Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Minimum 2 years of the last 3 years in the OR
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years
• Proficiency in General surgery
• Proficiency in Orthopedics, including total joints
• Proficiency in Neuro, including craniotomy and spine procedures
• Proficiency in Vascular surgery
• Proficiency in Trauma surgery
• Proficiency with DaVinci robotics, including cardiac cases involving moving arms and draping
• Attestation of PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• Attestation of PA State Police Check (PATCH)
• Other Regulatory Requirements

Assignment Details:

• Rotating shifts across days, evenings, and nights
• Weekend and call requirements apply
• Weekend shifts may include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
• Weekend call may include Saturday 24-hour call from 7a to 7a or Sunday 16-hour call from 7a to 11p
• Additional Friday night shifts may be required
• No block scheduling
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• In-house call rooms are available for use if needed
• Candidates cannot be previous regular employees
