Per Diem Staff Pharmacist IV Certified - Spring, TX

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist with IV Certification to provide per diem coverage at a Home Infusion pharmacy. This role involves supporting a pharmacy during a leave of absence period, ensuring uninterrupted pharmaceutical services.


Location: Spring, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Duration: February 16 - March 6
Software: CareTend (training available)


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications and intravenous admixtures
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards for sterile compounding
• Review and verify prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care via home infusion therapy
• Utilize CareTend software for order processing and documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
• Current IV Certification
• Recent and substantial experience in sterile compounding and intravenous admixture preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced home infusion pharmacy environment

This per diem position offers the chance to work within a specialized infusion pharmacy setting, utilizing your IV compounding expertise. Training on proprietary pharmacy software is provided to facilitate a smooth transition.
