About the Position

Anesthesiology Locum Tenens Opportunity

A healthcare facility is seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens coverage. Providers will be required to arrive the day before their scheduled call for orientation.

Coverage Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Available Dates:

  • June 23 – June 29 or June 30 – July 6

  • July 21 – July 27 or July 28 – August 3

  • August 18 – August 24

  • August 25 – August 31

Practice Highlights:

• Established anesthesia team with two physicians and six CRNAs

• Shared daily call with one Anesthesiologist

• Case types include Orthopedic, Urology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Spine, and GI

• 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient clinical care

• Average inpatient census: 35-45

• Monthly surgical volume: 180-200 cases

• Facility operates 3-4 ORs per day and provides C-section coverage

• Equipped with a Same-Day Surgery unit (10 bays) and PACU (5 bays)

• Inpatient services include ICU, telemetry, intermediate care, general, L&D/nursery

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-certified)

• ICU support duties, including assistance with difficult intubations and line insertions in the ED, ICU, and during emergent inpatient situations
