SAP S/4 Debt & Collection SME (Principal)

We are seeking an expert-level SAP S/4HANA architect to lead design and strategy for Debt & Collection functionality on a contract basis. This is a remote position based in the US, with an expected duration of 6+ months. You will serve as the principal technical advisor, defining target architecture, process design, and controls across a complex financial and public sector landscape. Responsibilities Design and advise on incoming order acceptance, advance payment processing, and reimbursable billing workflows Lead strategy for revenue collection and the full federal debt lifecycle, from identification through Treasury referral or write-off Define target architecture, process design, and controls across FI/AR, Public Sector Management, billing, and Treasury offset/referral integration points Lead fit-to-standard workshops and current-to-future state mapping exercises Assess data quality and compliance requirements across the solution Contribute to blueprint development, Return on Investment (ROI) modeling, and Phase 1 mobilization planning Provide subject matter expertise and architectural guidance to project teams Qualifications Required Expert-level knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with deep experience in Debt & Collection, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Financial (FI) modules Demonstrated experience designing and implementing federal debt lifecycle processes, including Treasury offset and referral procedures Proven ability to lead architecture design, fit-to-standard workshops, and blueprint development Strong understanding of Public Sector Management and billing integration within SAP environments Experience with controls definition, data quality assessment, and compliance requirements in financial systems Preferred Prior experience with mobilization and Phase 1 delivery on SAP S/4HANA projects Knowledge of Treasury offset and government debt collection regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr Intone Networks Inc.
