Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed ICU unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, serving an adult patient population
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with conditions including sepsis, COPD exacerbation, hypertensive urgency, and hypotensive urgency
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the Paragon electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Occasionally float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed based on unit demands
• Adhere to facility dress code standards including navy scrubs and professional appearance guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
• Ability to work rotating weekends with no on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with the Paragon electronic health record system
• Familiarity with PCU-level care and the ability to flex between acuity levels
• Experience managing high-acuity adult patients in a critical care setting
