About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer - Infrastructure Capacity...In this role, you will:Develop and execute comprehensive capacity governance strategies aligned with business objectives and Wells Fargo Technology service delivery goals.Implement and optimize capacity monitoring tools and technologiesExecute Suite of Controls within Capacity Governance: OMARS and Capacity Reporting and perform BAU Control ActivitiesSave in restricted repository Control Output: including reports, communications, escalations, etc.,Administer the Capacity Portal and ensure the monthly submission of OMARS as well as Capacity Utilization MetricsSupport Capacity Governance Team Lead in capacity onboarding activities as well engagement of Product Engineering Teams for onboarding into Capacity GovernanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams across various geographies to align capacity initiatives with business requirements and technical capabilitiesDefine and maintain component-level server metrics for capacity management reporting and analysis. Identify opportunities to improve reporting infrastructureCommunicate technical concepts and capacity governance insights effectively to executive leadership, stakeholders and technical teamsMonitor and analyze infrastructure performance metrics to identify trends, anomalies and areas for improvementAct as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional areaProvide compliance risk and regulatory subject matter expertise for a defined set of moderate risk compliance program elementsRecommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control developmentResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients’ needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsFoster a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous learning and innovation within the capacity management team and across the organization.Required Qualifications:4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of Risk Management or Business Controls experience4+ years of experience in IT Capacity Management, Capacity Planning, Capacity Design Optimization, Capacity Forecasting, Capacity Reporting.4+ year of IT Service Delivery Interface including IT System Monitoring, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Service Level Management and Availability Management experience4+ years of technical knowledge and experience with IT Operating Systems, Storage Devices, Databases and Network2+ years of experience with Enterprise monitoring and visualization tools like Prometheus/Grafana, AppDynamics, Google logging, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Github, Big Panda and Service NowDesired Qualifications:Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences4+ years of experience in process automation, data engineering, Software engineering, and building automation pipelinesRecent and demonstrated ability to influence management on technical or business solutionsExperience in partnering with developers and architects from other teams to build solutions and resolve system and business problemsExperience in facilitating analysis of current systems and problem identification and resolutionExperience with configuring and supporting application capacity and performance modeling for server/serverless assets and network devices in advanced capacity governance and observability toolsUnderstanding of Agile practices and ability to work with Agile teams to define and track user storiesProven ability to understand and communicate effectively about technical, complex compliance standards and policiesAbility to work independently and as part of a high-functioning, collaborative team of professionals, including the ability to form relationships at all levels of the organizationStrong knowledge and experience with deploying automations at scale in cloud environments such as GCP or Azure.Job Expectations:Ability to work on-site at approved location / hybridRelocation assistance is not available for this positionThis Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
