Managed Services Engineer

Salary: $65,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a highly experienced level 2/3 MSP Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in an MSP or multi-client IT setting. We need strong hands-on expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft Purview. Experience with RMM platforms such as ConnectWise, Datto, NinjaOne, or similar tools is required. Familiarity with PSA and ticketing systems like Atera, ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, or comparable platforms is expected. A solid background in Windows Server and desktop environments is required. Strong networking knowledge is needed, including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN configurations, and wireless networking. We expect experience with Active Directory and Azure AD administration. Proven remote support and troubleshooting experience is required. Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Dropsuite or equivalent platforms is required. Strong cybersecurity awareness and implementation experience is expected. We need practical experience supporting desktop systems, server administration, and computer hardware maintenance. Familiarity with enterprise tools such as SCCM, GPO, and Active Directory management is required. Experience supporting mobile devices and remote access solutions is expected. Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users are required. Responsibilities: We provide advanced Tier 2/3 technical support across multiple client environments. We manage and support SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft Purview. We administer RMM platforms to support proactive maintenance and alerting. We carry out system deployments, migrations, and upgrades across cloud and hybrid environments. We manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, including platforms such as Dropsuite. We respond to and resolve support tickets within SLA targets using ticketing systems. We deliver remote troubleshooting and on-site support when required. We handle endpoint protection, email security, MFA, identity security, and vulnerability remediation. We document processes, configurations, and client environments thoroughly. We collaborate with internal team members and escalate issues when needed. We participate in an on-call rotation as required. We manage computer systems, including desktop support, Windows Server administration, and hardware maintenance. We configure and maintain network components such as LAN, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP, and wireless solutions like Meraki. We use tools such as SCCM, GPO, Active Directory, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to manage systems and support workflows. We support IT infrastructure, including network administration, mobile device management, and cloud-based services. We assist with security configurations such as firewall rules, VPN access controls, and network segmentation. We analyze issues with cross-functional teams and develop effective solutions promptly. We record all support activity in help desk systems and communicate clearly with clients to maintain high customer satisfaction.
