Travel RN – Progressive Care Neuro Trauma (Night Shift / 13-Week Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 10, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Monitor patients using bedside monitors, end-tidal O2 monitoring, high-flow oxygen, chronic vents, and subdural drains
• Assist with and oversee unit procedures including chest tube management and EEG monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of RNs and patient care aides across day and night shifts
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Hampshire or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Step-down unit experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro nursing experience strongly preferred
• Trauma nursing experience preferred
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
