Patient Types: High risk and low risk ante-partum, intra-partum pregnant women. Immediate postpartum, stabilization of normal newborn. Couplet care
Patient Ratios:1:1 High risk; Normally 1:2. Will follow AWHONN guidelines
Required Certifications: Licensure: BLS, NRP
Skills required: IUPC, FSE, IV starts, circulating C-sections
Support on the Unit: CNA: No CNAs, OBT scrub and assist with vaginal delivery recoveries

Floating: If yes, where? Postpartum and NICU (for level 2 newborns)
