Position: Cath Lab Tech

Shift Information

Shift: 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Unit Information

Location: Thornton, CO

Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab
Number of Beds: 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath Suites
Staffing: 9 Team Members
Patient Ratios: 3 staff to 1 patient

GE Innova Fluoro Systems
Mac Lab EMR - Meditech

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

At least 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
BLS Certification
ARRT (R) License
RCIS or RCES Certification (must be willing to apply for Fluoroscopy Operator registration in Colorado)

Preferred Qualifications:

ARRT (CI) or (CV) Certification
Holding and Monitoring experience

Typical Procedures

Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Peripheral Diagnostics and Interventions
Pacing, ICDs, Cardioversions
Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
Tilt Table Tests
Dobutamine Stress Tests

Unit Guidelines and On-call Responsibilities

Candidates must be available for on-call duties along with the team. Call will be divided evenly through a 4-week schedule, typically requiring 8-12 days. Weekend shifts within this block may occasionally be necessary. Candidates must reside within a 30-minute radius of the Cath Lab.
