Strategic Workforce Analyst Jobs

Job Title Lead Workforce Analyst Responsibilities Leads the design and development of the methodology, strategies, processes, and analytic tools to characterize, segment, track, analyze, and forecast the department’s workforce. Maintains and analyzes timely analytics and metrics for reporting on strategic workforce initiatives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis. Maintains cognizance of relevant human capital trends and best practices for the OSW civilian workforce. Prepares workforce planning related reports, briefs, white papers, correspondences, and strategic communications. Leads the strategic workforce planning process and provides technical expertise for the development and implementation of the DoW Human‑Capital Framework, composed of short‑ and long‑term strategies to address workforce challenges and opportunities. Requirements U.S. citizenship is required. Males born after 12‑31‑59 must be registered or exempt from selective service. May be required to successfully complete a probationary/trial period. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Required to participate in the Direct Deposit program. This position is subject to pre‑employment and random drug testing. This position is subject to the DoD Priority Placement Program. This position may require travel of up to 10% away from your normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft. This position requires a security clearance at the Secret – Non‑critical Sensitive level. Qualifications To qualify for this position, you must meet the following qualification requirements. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑12 grade level in Federal service (including private sector experience) is required. Design and execute workforce data‑collection methodologies; perform quantitative and qualitative data analyses; develop predictive models; compose well‑written, data‑driven reports; prepare briefings for senior‑level decision‑makers. Implement workforce data‑collection methods and conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses; utilize data modeling to identify trends; author detailed reports; prepare briefing materials to support management decision‑making. Prepare reports, briefs, correspondences, and strategic communications. Experience may include paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
