Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.Peak Season (July-December) RequirementsMandatory overtime may include some Saturdays and Sundays.BASE PAY: $17.80HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACTBSN Sports, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire a Screen Print Operator. As a Screen Print Specialist, this role is responsible for assisting with the production of screen-printed material. Roles include the production, coating, and cleaning of screens used in the screen-printing process, quality check finished product based on customer specifications, assisting on press loading material and by applying ink to screens, and the movement of material throughout the facility, and the use of an RF scanner.WHAT YOU WILL DOReviews work order, observes specifications and any special notes, and prepares work area to start to print multi-color work.Direct physical activity is required to maintain their productivity while meeting the highest quality specifications.Quality check decorated garments based on customer specifications.Assist the press operator by loading material on press, applying ink to screens, changing squeegees, and pre-counting material before decoration based on the paperwork.Operation of machinery is used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens used in the screen-printing process.Move material into staging locations throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.Ensures that their area and equipment is kept clean, wiped down with press wash at least once per week.Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.Learn tasks quickly, accurately, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIESFamiliarity with screen printing machines and software.Ability to spot errors and ensure precise stitching.Capable of troubleshooting machine issues and making necessary adjustments.Understanding of design principles to assist in the creation of appealing patterns.Must be able to follow orders and proper machine operating.Learn tasks quickly, be detailed, accuracy-driven, personable, team-oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.Candidates are required to differentiate and coordinate colors.EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCEHS Diploma or GED (required)Previous warehouse experience is a bonusBilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonusAbility to read English instructions.Candidates are required to see and differentiate colors for accuracy in inspecting the product during and after being processed.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-35 lbs. on a regular basis.
