The Senior Finance & Data Analytics Analyst will support Finance, FP&A, Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership by providing financial and operational analysis that drives business decisions. This role will partner closely with FP&A and IT to develop insights, improve forecasting, refine reporting, and identify opportunities to improve profitability, pricing, and operational performance.

The position reports to the FP&A Manager while working cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT Business Intelligence.

Primary Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Department spend analysis and budget variance reporting
• Budget vs. Forecast vs. Actual analysis and reporting refinement
• Revenue forecasting support
• Gross margin and profitability analysis
• Executive KPI reporting and dashboards
• Financial modeling to support business initiatives

Pricing & Profitability

• Pricing analysis and margin optimization
• Pricing governance and management
• Client and contract profitability analysis
• Gross margin analysis by client, specialty, service line, and region
• Evaluate pricing recommendations and financial impact

Operational Analytics

• Recruiter productivity and conversion metrics
• Days-to-fill and fill-rate analysis
• Clinician utilization and productivity reporting
• Client performance analysis
• Revenue and margin trends
• Operational KPI development

Sales & Compensation Analytics

• Commission calculations and reporting
• Sales performance analytics
• Revenue by salesperson, client, and market
• Pipeline and forecast reporting support

Business Intelligence & Decision Support

• Partner with IT Business Intelligence to define reporting requirements
• Validate and analyze data used in executive reporting
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting
• Deliver actionable insights to executive leadership

Requirements:

Required

• 5–8+ years of experience in Finance Analytics, Business Analytics, FP&A, or Decision Support
• Advanced Excel
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Experience interpreting large datasets and presenting recommendations
• Experience supporting executive leadership
• Excellent English communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in healthcare staffing, workforce management, or professional services
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems (Sage Intacct, Bullhorn, Salesforce, etc.)
• Familiarity with Power BI (ability to use and validate reports rather than develop enterprise models)
• Understanding of relational databases and data structures (without requiring deep SQL expertise)

• Improve forecast accuracy and reporting quality
• Enhance department spend visibility and variance analysis
• Develop a standardized pricing and profitability analytics process
• Deliver actionable insights into gross margin performance
• Improve recruiter and operational performance reporting
• Refine executive dashboards in partnership with IT
• Reduce manual reporting effort across Finance
• Support executive decision-making with timely, data-driven analyses
