SURESTAFF is hiring for an MBO Operator for a client in Wheeling, IL. The MBO operator is responsible for performing routine setup tasks, such as roll to sheet/folded on MBO or Hunkler line, setup/operate product counters, setup/operate glue systems and setup basic paper transport path including simple attaching. Pay Rate: $22-35/hr. Available shifts:

• 1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm
• 2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm
• 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am

Responsibilities of the MBO Operator:

• Perform routine setup tasks: setup Roll to Sheet/folded on MBO or Hunkler line, setup/operate product counters, setup/operate glue systems
• Setup glue (hot melt) in lines, elongated dots, and dots perf job ticket
• Set up multi-feed units to feed carriers and attached components, more standardized simplified formats
• Works with operators, feeders, and catchers to ensure they understand how to properly load/produce/pack product on the machine
• Conduct preventative maintenance and identity items to repair
• Communicate requirements effectively with other team members, supervision, and maintenance
• Ensures all required documentation is completed on the production line for all team members and turned in to the supervisor
• Responds to QC alerts and concerns with the required measures to satisfy the situation by requesting the right assistance
• Alerts supervisor to any condition where excessive downtime is being experienced
• Leads initiative to keep the area clean and safe throughout the shift
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of the MBO Operator:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods throughout a shift
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Ability to make repairs to line equipment when parts are available and in hand.
• Able to train any level setup personnel in new areas of expertise
• Knowledge of all positions on a production line to assist in others understanding their roles and performing them
• Basic computer experience
