Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and comprehensive evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement patient-specific surgical plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical suites, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing instruments during operations
• Provide exceptional pre- and post-operative patient care, including administering medications, tending to wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Required Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are highly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
