Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Perioperative Circulator for a Pediatric OR position requiring at least one year of acute OR experience and an OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Pediatric Operating Room setting
• Weekend schedule Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 0630-1900
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• Day shift assignment with no on-call requirements
• Overtime possible if available
• Level I trauma experience is not required

Requirements

• Active RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment
• Pediatric OR experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and professional nursing practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures
• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care within the operating room
• Document and evaluate all components of patient care using the nursing process
• Individualize patient care based on health status, age, and procedure type
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Facility strictly enforces credentialing and compliance deadlines with no start date flexibility
