Housekeeping/JanitorialJob Location: Davenport, IA Salary Range: $15.00-$16.00 per hour30 hours per weekJob Summary: A Property Janitor will be responsible for performing general upkeep of the site and providing a clean environment for the residents at the property.Essential Functions: Maintains a clean and safe environment for residents.Cleans vacant units thoroughly for new occupants in accordance with the cleaning checklist.Ensures that all common areas are clean and litter free, including vacuuming, dusting, windows, stairwells and bathrooms.Regularly inspects common areas for adequate lighting.Picks up trash around the property.Performs year round grounds maintenance including snow and ice removal if neededPerforms minor building/unit maintenance repairs.Writes up work orders for maintenance from requests by residents.Resets circuit breakers, change switch/outlet plates, replace light bulbs.Shuts off water valves when necessary.Minimum Requirements:All candidates are required to pass a background check and drug test as a condition of employment; additionally, candidates for a facilities position are required to pass a pre-employment physical.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.At least 6 month's work experience in a cleaning/janitorial position.Premier Housing Management & Development, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
