Lucky 13 Salt Lake City is looking for hosts and hostesses to join our team. We are a high-volume, award-winning bar and known for our energy, culture, hospitality, and the most talked about burgers in Utah.

We are specifically looking for individuals with full-time open availability who are self-motivated, sharp, dependable, and genuinely enjoy taking care of people. Experience is great, but attitude, work ethic, intelligence, and reliability matter even more. We are willing to train the right person.

Since opening our doors in 2009, Lucky 13 has built a reputation as Salt Lake City's most recognized and award-winning bar destination. From our signature Nut Butter Burger to our house-smoked bacon and creative specials, we take pride in delivering incredible food backed by equally incredible hospitality.

We believe great bars are built by great people. Hospitality, professionalism, teamwork, cleanliness, consistency, and guest experience are at the core of everything we do.

Hosting is not "just standing at a door."

A great host can completely change the energy of a guest's experience before they ever sit down.

• Greet every guest warmly and professionally

• Manage wait lists and reservations with urgency and accuracy

• Communicate clearly and confidently with guests and staff

• Maintain calm composure during busy, high-pressure shifts

• Help control the pace and flow of the restaurant

• Answer guest questions and accommodate special requests when possible

• Work closely with servers, bartenders, managers, and kitchen staff

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area

• Help create a positive and energetic atmosphere for both guests and team members

Open availability, especially nights, weekends, and holidays, is highly valued.

No experience required - we will train the right person.

That said, this is not an easy job. We are a high-volume bar, and we are looking for people who take pride in working hard, learning quickly, and being part of a strong team culture.

• Starting pay: $13.50 - $15.00/hr DOA

• Full-time and part-time positions available

• Day and night shifts available

• Flexible scheduling depending on availability and performance
