Retail Merchandiser

Overview Retail Merchandiser SFS is growing, and we're looking for experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated professionals seeking flexible, supplemental income while servicing some of the nation's largest retailers and brands. Our clients provide service windows rather than specific work schedules, allowing you a flexible schedule that works for you while meeting project requirements. Assignments may include merchandising, product resets, cut-ins, inventory audits, display maintenance, POP installation, product stocking, and other retail support activities. Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, with some retailer locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month. - Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
- Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
- Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
- Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
- Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities
- Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
- Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented
- Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted
- Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device
- Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed
- Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation
- Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations
- Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) with internet access
- Active email address for project communication and reporting
- Ability to submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed
