Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, PALS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Pediatric experience strongly preferred - Experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, and ophthalmology also strongly preferred Description: BLS and PALS certifications are required. ACLS certification is preferred. The role may require floating between different operating room locations. Candidates must have at least 2 years of Operating Room experience. Experience with pediatrics is strongly preferred. The unit supports a wide variety of service lines including gastroenterology, dental, plastics, urology, gynecology, and general surgery. The responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing in orthopedic, sports medicine, gastroenterology, dental, general surgery, plastics, gynecology, genitourinary, eye, and dermatology service lines. Verified references from two of the last three places worked are required. Verified references must come from different facilities.
