$22 - $35 an hour

The Cable Installer is a technician role that provides installation services across multiple platforms in support of head ends, hubs, and central offices. Technical responsibilities include working with a team to install various pieces of electronic gear and cabling systems to support our customers in the MSO, cable, telephone, data center and communications industry.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with team members to complete cabling installation activities.
-Assist in equipment installation and ensure proper setup.
-OSP/ISP cable pulling experience
-Support infrastructure installation tasks as part of project requirements.
-Perform testing of fiber optic cable to ensure functionality.
-Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with standards and specifications.

Job Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

-Proficient in working with fiber and proper installation techniques.
-Ability to use basic PC and mobile applications for configuration and troubleshooting.
-Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills, processes, and responsibilities.
-Take initiative by identifying tasks that need to be completed and proactively offering support.

Education and Experience:

1+ years field technical installation and cabling experience
1+ years working documentation on technical jobs (JCR, SOW, etc.)
OSHA-10 certification preferred
Confined space training preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 100lbs
Must be able to pass drug screening
